Mahdi previously served as Deputy Governor of Zamfara State from 2019 to 2022, giving him first-hand experience of government, public administration and the responsibilities that come with leadership.
Today, he represents a new generation of leadership—one that believes Zamfara can move beyond insecurity, poverty, unemployment and underdevelopment toward a future defined by peace, productivity, dignity and prosperity.
